A smarter home, without the hassle
I design, install, and set up your smart home from start to finish. You don't need to research products, compare brands, or figure out how any of it works. I take care of everything, and I don't leave until it does.
What I can set up
From a single smart doorbell to a whole-home system, everything I install is configured to work together properly. No half-working gadgets, no confusing apps, no loose ends.
Simple from start to finish
You don't need to do any of the legwork. I guide you through every step, and everything is working properly before I leave your home.
We have a conversation
I'll ask about your home, how you live, and what you'd like to achieve. No pressure, no jargon. You don't need to know what you want yet, that's what I'm here for.
I design and install everything
I recommend the right products, handle all the setup, and configure everything to work together. If an electrician is needed, I'll coordinate that too.
You're shown how it all works
Before I leave, I'll walk you through everything in plain English. By the time I'm done, you'll feel comfortable and confident using your new system.

One simple system for your whole home
Lights, heating, security, audio. All in one place.
Most smart home setups leave you juggling several different apps, each doing their own thing. Home Assistant brings everything together into a single, simple system, so your home works the way you'd actually want it to. I set the whole thing up, built around how you live.
Leave home, the house sorts itself
Lights off, heating dropped, doors locked, cameras armed. All triggered the moment the last person leaves, without you touching a thing.
A proper morning routine
Lights slowly brighten, heating warms up, kettle on. All before your alarm goes off, and only on the days you need it.
Heat only the rooms you're using
Tracks which rooms have people in them and adjusts each radiator individually. Less waste, lower bills.
Night-safe lighting
Motion-triggered dim lights guide you through the house at night, then switch off automatically after a few minutes.
Never forget to lock up
Alerts if a door's been open too long. Locks automatically at night. Check every door and window from one screen.
Know when the washing's done
Monitors power draw and sends a notification when the cycle finishes. No more wet laundry forgotten in the drum.
A smarter home, without the stress
Smart home technology can look overwhelming from the outside. Lots of brands, lots of options, and plenty of ways to end up with something that doesn't quite work. That's where I come in.
Every property is different. I take the time to understand your home, your lifestyle, and what you actually want from it, before recommending anything.
Setup, accounts, apps, automations. I take care of the technical side so you don't have to learn any of it.
Some installations need electrical work, like built-in lighting circuits or wired audio. I'll work directly with your electrician, or recommend one I trust, and manage that process for you.
I don't leave a half-finished job. When I'm done, your system is working, you understand how to use it, and you know how to reach me if anything ever needs tweaking.
You shouldn't have to figure this out yourself
Smart home technology is genuinely useful when it's set up properly. The problem is that most people either give up halfway through, or end up with a system that only half works. I make sure that doesn't happen.
I'm based in Edinburgh and work across the surrounding area. Most visits take half a day to a full day depending on the scope of the project.

This service suits a particular kind of homeowner. If any of the following sounds familiar, we're probably a good fit.
The best time to install smart systems is during a renovation. We can plan ahead and avoid unnecessary work later.
No wires on show, no boxes collecting dust. Built-in systems keep everything tidy and out of sight.
And it didn't quite work. That's usually a setup issue, not a technology issue. A properly configured system is a different experience altogether.
Not a quick fix or a compromise. You want a system designed for your home that works reliably every day.
You're not looking to become a tech expert. You just want your home to work better, without having to learn how it all works behind the scenes.
I configure systems with security in mind, and where possible reduce reliance on cloud services so your data stays within your home.
